During Ralph’s official visit to Charlottesville, Tom Hicks, a UVA alumni basketball player, along with his fraternity brothers, orchestrated a bold and heartfelt move to make Ralph’s visit unforgettable. They climbed onto the roof of University Hall, the iconic home of UVA basketball, and painted “RALPH’S HOUSE” in giant, bold letters.
As Ralph soared above the campus in a helicopter, he looked down and saw the message—a symbol of their belief in him and the university’s commitment to his future. That moment sealed the deal. Ralph chose UVA, where he earned three National Player of the Year awards, redefined college basketball, and left a legacy that transcends the game.
